And, what is Obama doing - cancelling the Marines’ Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (a modern combination of tank and amphibious vehicle) and cutting back on the number of modern tanks in our inventory. Meanwhile, Egypt has one of the biggest tank forces in the Middle East and their main battle tank is the M1 Abrams – the same one the US Army uses. We may not be able stop the unrest in Egypt, but we must be prepared to defend our interests and the security of Israel if the worse occurs.

How do we "out build the world" with onerous EPA regulations? He attacks banks and oil companies, but says he is pro jobs. He says "we are behind on education" but he doesn’t want to hold teachers accountable. He wants energy independence but makes it harder to drill for oil. He wants to cut spending, but he talks about spending more on “investments.” If he is serious about cuts, start by disbanding the EPA. We need actions, not words!

I wrote the other day about the proposal to cut defense spending and troop levels. I said we should cut U.N. funding before we took $1 away from our military. Now Republican U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs committee, is seeking cuts and has introduced a bill intended to pressure the United Nations to change the way it operates. Call your representative and tell them to cut U.N. funding and leave defense spending alone!

The last two days have been great. The AZ GOP Chairman’s Award Dinner and the AZ GOP Elections were energized. Congratulations to Bruce Ash for winning the Barry Goldwater Award and Tom Morrissey for winning the AZ GOP Chairman and Paul Babeu for winning National Sheriff of the Year. The leadership has been decided, we know the mission, check your ego at the door and get over what ever feelings you may have and “Focus on 2012” starting TODAY!

I do know that the purpose of fighting a war is to win it, not to see our troops dying for no reason at all. That’s why cutting troop strength in a time of war is WRONG! Our military is already stretched because of budget cuts. They are being torn away from their families, dying, coming home with permanent disabilities and Obama wants them to do more with less? I suggest we cut foreign aid and U.N. funding before we take $1 away from our armed forces!

This is the time for members of Congress to remember what they swore last week – to defend the Constitution. They cannot allow the left to spin this into gun control or to use it to negate our hard won majority in the House. The shooting to Congressman Giffords is a tragedy, and is deplorable. That being said, we must prevent government from trampling The Constitution. This was the act of one unstable individual, and we must not let this detour us from our mission to correct the excesses of the past few years.

While basking in his few minutes of national glory, he apparently saw no irony in criticizing the overheated rhetoric of his political opponents while calling them accomplices to murder. His blatantly political rhetoric is an attempt to tar his political opposition with the crimes of a lunatic so as to render illegitimate the views of many Americans, including those who want secure borders. Let’s hope Pima County voters remember his outrages when he is up for reelection.

As a political party, the GOP has the ability to literally restore our country... to restore individual liberties and freedoms enjoyed by previous generations.

How can this be accomplished?

It can be accomplished by maintaining integrity in the party's mission (conservative politics and limited government) and by embracing the POWER of patriots found in TEA Party activists. This will help us to support candidates that are true conservatives and gain the votes of empowered American citizens.

The determination of American patriots cannot be matched. As we continue to add TEA Party patriots to our ranks, we gain from that determination and begin to reflect what American citizens demand.

American citizens WILL accomplish the goal of restoring America, with or without the GOP. With the GOP's help and guidance through the political landscape we can all accomplish our goals more quickly and more efficiently.

As a TEA Party patriot, I have marched on Washington D.C. with almost 1 million others to the lawn of the Lincoln Memorial. The date was 8/28/10, and it was Glenn Beck's Honor Rally. Along with native Americans, black Americans, and other races from around the country, we declared in one loud voice that we respect our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, and we also honored great citizens.

I am a TEA Party patriot that has joined with the GOP to accomplish the most honorable goal of all... to Restore America.

The time is now. We must invite TEA Party patriots to join our ranks in great numbers. They will see the honor that is in the Republican Party... if we show it to them.

Why is Napolitano visiting and trying to secure the Afghanistan border and not the U.S. Border? Why is HOMELAND Security necessary in Afghanistan? Maybe she thinks that by seeing how bad that border looks will make her feel better about our southern border? Here’s an interesting question – How many border agents could we have hired instead of sending Napolitano and her staff to Afghanistan? Why was that money not put into fence on the border, or securing the gapping holes in U.S. airport security? I hope Congress starts asking those questions tomorrow.
